Featuring many hills artists working across a range of mediums, Open Studios provides a unique insight into our artists’ work environments as well as their art. The Dandenong Ranges has a rich and vibrant artistic heritage which continues today. Open Studios allows local artists to share their artwork, and gives you the opportunity to get an inside look into the eclectic and often hidden art world of the hills. Visitors can use the touring map of artists’ studios, galleries and arts organizations to discover the many talented artists working in our wonderful Hills environment.

The next open weekend is scheduled for 29-30 May 2010.

Artists’ studios will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, 29 and 30 May. In the meantime, some studios have regular open days and others are open by appointment, so contact the artists directly to arrange a visit. Guidebook
This beautiful color guidebook includes photos, details and locations of all Open Studios Artists, as well as information on other arts organizations and cultural events in the Dandenong Ranges. The Open Studios guidebook is available from Burrinja and other hills outlets, and is updated annually in March/April.
