| The artist studio tenants of Burrinja have taken over the arts shop! You can now get fabulous work produced by local artists from the artists themselves. Come and say hello and support local art. |
| Burrinja Arts Shop is the collective idea of talented local artists who ply their diverse creativity within the studios at Burrinja and further a-field. Run and staffed by the artists themselves, it’s a place where studio artists of Burrinja and the Hills can sell their creative works as part of an arts cooperative. |
| The arts shop provides yet another great attraction for
people visiting Burrinja’s many exhibitions, performances and cultural
events and the fabulous Burrinja café. It is open most days, and
you get to meet and talk to the artists who have made the work. The Burrinja Arts Shop has delightful hand made ceramic teapots and cups, leadlight lamps, a vast array of jewellery ranging from silver, glass, felt, beading and ceramics in classic and modern designs. Wearable art brooches and pendants are perfect for those small stand-out presents that express gratitude and love. ‘Wraptya’ natural fibre clothing is for day to day wear or for dressing up stylishly with layers and the addition of a felt wrap for that special night out. The hard to buy for person can be catered for with Stax’s great hiking staffs. |
