Art & Cultural Workshops with Indigenous Artist
A hands-on workshop conducted with an Indigenous artist. This involves students commencing work on their own piece of art using traditional techniques as demonstrated by the artist facilitator. The style of work (dot painting, raark etc) depends on the background of the particular artist.

Currently, Yorta Yorta artist Tiriki Onus guides students through creating art with traditional symbols and totems, explaining the stories and meanings behind them, as well as hand stencilling. (Activities are altered for age appropriateness) Teachers and supervisors are required to assist the students during the workshops. Groups may either provide their own materials or pay a small material fee. Please inquire when booking.

Facilitated DVD screenings – indigenous art & culture
A selection of DVD screenings is available for students that provides an insight into the landscape and culture that informs Aboriginal art across Australia. Video screenings are introduced with a follow up Q&A session about the content. Be inspired by the landscape and dreamtime stories as they’re interpreted through art
